One handsome cowboy....

I got the chance to photograph this handsome young man for his senior photos. I haven't been out to a farm in ages, much less been around horses very much. Thankfully all the animals were really nice and I didn't get nervous being around them. His dog was really cool too. He didn't seem to mind me snapping away. Both the horse and the dog were great models for me. It was a lot of fun!

Time to buy a shotgun....

So I caught Miss K jumping on the bed last night (big no no, her little brother always copies and gets hurt).

Since it's been so hot out we put a fan up in her room. So... she was jumping and singing into the fan. Course being the mommy photographer that I am I had to grab my camera.

She had her hair blowing and was playing supermodel. After I uploaded these I was convinced that it was time for a shotgun for all those boys that would be knocking my door when she gets older.

I know I'm a biased mother and have always thought my kids are beautiful, but this just scares me....

My awesome dog

Having kids changes everything. Even in taking pics of my dog! My poor little Nina never gets her pictures taken because I'm often snapping away at the kiddos. Tonight we were all out playing outside and I decided to take a few snaps of my girl.

My aunt got this t-shirt for my son for his two year birthday. It seriously cracked me up!!!!!
He wore it to the mall today and people were staring and laughing. It was quite the site...

My amazingly talented sister-in-law Natalie, took this picture of me and Mr. D. Since I'm always behind the camera, this was the first picture that we had taken together since he was born. He's such a cute squishy little guy....

What an adventure!

I got to go on a fun adventure with these adorable little girls. We got to explore a fun little island.

We saw birds, pretend turtles, and beautiful flowers. We explored little houses and ponds with fish. We had to jump across the bridge to avoid the trolls, but we made it out okay!

What a great time we had!

Another gorgeous senior...

This gal was so much fun!!! We took a trip out to her grandparents property and did shots out there, then a few days later we hit up our local beach. She's so beautiful and was a joy to photograph!!

I had the most fun the other night with this couple. They just got engaged and I was lucky enough to do their photos. I can't wait till the wedding!!! We're going to have the best time. The bride is a good friend of mine from WAY back in the day. We played softball together from when we were about ten years old... awwww... some good memories. Go Cobras!!!

Just Picked...

Baby G was just born four weeks ago. He was six weeks early!! He's the most precious little baby. He was only six pounds at the time of his session last week. Absolute perfection....

New Gear!!!!

Whoot whoot. I got brand new gear. I'm super excited to upgrade my equipment. It's been a long time coming. So the past two weeks in between sessions I've been practicing with my kiddos. They are pretty willing models, thank goodness!!!
